This is the ultimate local comfort food spot. The service is great, people are nice, food is really good. Typical diner options . Just finished a turkey club I brought home and so good. The best part is the people to be honest. A must try
It doesn't get much better than Taste of the City. I have been coming here for many years. The food and I had about everything is always hot, fresh and delicious. The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. I only wish they were open for dinner. But then again Debra and the stuff need the time to rest. And we should or at least I should. Take Debra to dinner for having such a wonderful place. And really this is the place where everyone knows your name.
Taste of the city was such a great find! I'm always on the lookout for good breakfast joints and the food at taste of the city really hit the spot. I love corned been hash and they happened to have it on the menu, so I had go try it. It was so delicious and fresh! And not greasy at all. They had a wide variety of items and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.
Fantastic food and nice atmosphere. Can't say enough about the French toast. My son loved the Belgian waffles.
The service is outstanding, food is good and the coffee keeps coming. A local's spot with little to no wait time. We were going to another diner for breakfast but the wait was expected to be 45 minutes. Glad we stopped by! We will be back, thank you.
This place is an absolute Gem, it has a cozy feel with a very old school diner feel bring your friends...... the food is absolutely delicious, the waitress is amazingly friendly and courteous and makes sure you know what's special and apparently we have very similar taste because everything she suggested was delicious. Good place to have breakfast or lunch closes at 2:30 so make sure you don't miss out.
What a great neighborhood find. The food is fresh and delicious. The prices are reasonable and the help is friendly and helpful. The owner is sweet and welcoming and the entire dining experience is just a pleasure. If you are in the Cooper City or Davie area you should not miss this spot.
